Barrier protection ceramide cream

This formulation I am sharing with you is not a KISS formulation in terms of the number of ingredients and phases but the procedure is quite straightforward nevertheless. This is a cream I prepared for myself a while a go and I loved it so much I couldn't help sharing it with you.

Procedure:

1- Blend phase A and B in separate heat-proof beakers

2-  Heat phase A and B in a water bath between 82-85 C

3- Emulsify the oil phase in the water phase

4- Disperse the gum blend in the still hot emulsion

5- Start cooling down while stirring

6- When the temperature reaches under 45-55 C add the ceramide (phase D)

7- When the emulsion reaches <35 C add Phase E and stir for a while then add phase F and continue stirring. The preservative system works independent of the pH

8- When the emulsion reaches the room temperature prepare a 10% dilution and measure the pH. In our case it was 5,33 and we didn't changed it.

9- Reduce the pH by adding lactic acid if your pH is higher or if you wish a lower pH.

10- Take the stability and micro kit samples and fill the rest in a suitable container
