Ice blue lotion bar

Even though it's summer on the northern hemisphere most of us still need something substantial over the skin. These beautiful lotion bars pamper and cool the skin after a day of outdoor activity.

By using emollients such as triheptanoin and Emogreen C69 the skin feel is not greasy at all and the shelf-life of the product is much higher compared to when you use only plant oils.

With the glyceryl dibehenate the bars have a higher melting point so if you accidentally forget your purse in the car the bars become softer but they do not melt completely.

The procedure is quite easy and straight forward:

1- Melt phase A between 90-95 C

2- When everything is melted stop heating but keep the container in the water bath.

3- Add phase B and blend till the butters are melted.

4- Now stop cooling while stirring.

5- At a temperature below 45 add phase C and continue cooling while stirring.

6- When the batter reaches a medium trace pour in the mold cavities and cool in the fridge for a few hours to overnight.
