Valentine's shower bar: 2 versions

This is a short cut version of the shower bar and extremely easy to make even for beginners. We prepared two versions for the Valentine's this year. One version uses rose petals and the other one our cranberry microzest powder.

As always, when making a shower bar you need to make a very small batch, guesstimate the concentration of lactic acid you need to adjust the pH and then adjust the amount in the successive batches. The rest is really really easy.

For these shower bars we are using the SCI powder which works much better than the noodles. We have just used a spice mill that we use for our plant powders and made the powder from the noodles in our lab. You can do this for small batches or purchase the powder from the beginning

Procedure:

1- Melt phase A in a water bath around 55 C.

2- Blend phase D in another beaker

3- When phase A is melted add the cranberry powder. Add this phase to phase C

4- Now add phase D and E and take a sample for pH measurement.

5- Stir the batter to a trace and pour in the mould cavities. Cool in the fridge for a few hours

6- After pouring go back to the pH sample. Prepare a 10% dilution and measure the pH. In our case it was 5,0 which is perfectly in range
