Green tea hand and nail balm

This is a very simple but awesome formulation. We have created something similar many moons ago and we jazzed it up in this formulation.
The beautiful color comes from our green tea wax.

The procedure is rather straightforward.

You melt phase A around 50 C then add phase B (this temperature is necessary for incorporation of the ceramide) and start cooling while stirring. When the balm reaches a trace you add the essential oils and continue stirring and cooling to a heavy trace and then pour the balm in your containers.

Interesting fact about this balm is the combination of the polar and non-polar oils so that the skin feel is very silky and non-greasy and the balm glides smoothly over the skin.

If you are still struggling with the oil polarity concept we have a replay of our masterclass about oil polarity.
