Have you ever made a beautiful cleansing gel, shower gel or shampoo and observed it falling apart or breaking as soon as you add the essential oil the last minute?
We have tested a basic KISS cleansing gel formulation and have measured the viscosity of the gel after adding different essential oils. We still don't know exactly what happens and why some essential oils break the gel and reduce the viscosity but at least we know some of the culprits at this stage.......
