I don't know about you but although I don't drink coffee at all (except a small cup of Turkish coffee once in a while, just when there is a fortune teller available to read the cup!!!) I love the coffee scent.
This is one of the easiest and yet most impressive scrubs you can ever make. Of course you can replace the coffee with other exfoliants such as seed powders or our volcanic sand. This is based on the concept of the balm-to-milk so the product is self-preserving and waterless and turns to a milk that is easily rinsed off and leaves the skin with a silky (and non-greasy) after feel courtesy of our saponin powder and PG-4 caprate

The formulation is rather simple and straightforward. We are using the G2B here. It improves the thermal stability of the balm yet it imparts this unique juicy texture that you don't see in conventional balms. Apart from the texture and thermal stability it has another great advantage: the balms settles to its final consistency in a few days. This gives you the possibility to fill the balm in tubes (which is a more hygienic and practical way to use the scrub) and if you are working in an artisanal atelier with no buddy to help you, you will have enough time to fill all of your containers of a batch without the balm running ahead of you and getting too hard.

Now let's jump to the formulation

Procedure:
1- Melt phase A between 85-90 C
2- When phase A is completely melted add phase B and stir till the cocoa butter is melted
3- Add phase C and start cooling while blending
4- When the balm reaches a medium to heavy trace add the saponin powder and the coffee powder. Fill the balm in suitable containers
5- The balm reaches the final texture in about 3 days.
