When it comes to formulating personal care it is very often the case that the most stunning formulations are the simplest ones. And that is the logical way to start with a new formulation. You do not throw all of your precious ingredients in a new formulation just to observe it separate or not turn out as you have imagined.
We started this (almost KISS) formulation to test the newly arrived pequi oil and the skin feel blew my mind. It is very simple in terms of active ingredients and knick-knacks. We don't have any vitamins (except the tocopherol which is the antioxidant), any ceramide or hyaluron yet the skin feel and the texture are unbelievable.
I couldn't help sharing this with you. Take this formulation as a base and add your active ingredients to it after you are satisfied with the stability results but first try it as simple as it is.
