Warming foot balm with Evicare heat eco

We made this juicy warming foot balm as it was freezing cold in May. But I know there are individuals who have cold hands and feet even during hot summer days (and that does not only include elderly people). So we made this balm to comfort their cold hands and feet.

We have shared a few warming formulations before

Bye bye cold hands and feet: Chili balm
Who can resist the sensation of a warming balm during fall and winter? Although there are individuals who suffer under cold hands and feet all year around most of us only need some additional heat during the colder seasons of the year. This ridiculously simple balm has a nice and
Warming chili lotion
Who dos not like getting “hot” by applying a silky lotion over the body, on the hands and feet? Apart from the elderly who usually always feel cold and will benefit from a warm sensation caused by applying this lotion, all of us will need some additional heat this winter

but they were with chili CO2 extract which is an amazing ingredient but needs to be used sparingly and can be sensitizing

VBE has been on the market for a long time but the plant based and COSMOS conform (as well as palm free) version is available just recently. This ingredient has the same warming effect as the chili oil or extract but does not bite like chili.

The formulation is really simple and straightforward yet it looks beautiful and feels awesome on the skin

We have whipped the balm at the end but you can leave it as it is without whipping as well (the color will be slightly more intensive in that case)

Here the formulation

We are using warming extracts of ginger and cardamom. This might sound a little bit bizarre for a foot product but trust me, it is really and awesome blend with the orange oil.

Procedure:

1- Heat phase A around 50 C

2- When all of phase A is melted stop heating and add phase B. Start cooling down while stirring.

3- At a temperature below 35 add phase C. Continue cooling down till reaching a medium trace.

4- At this stage you can either feel in the jars or further cool down to a heavy trace and then whip.
